FROSTBREACH

Build your maze. Breach theirs.

On the last frozen shelf the last battle rages, two commanders face the same fight from both ends: survive the waves pouring in and bury your opponent under the waves you send back.

Frostbreach is a 2 player, head-to-head, tower-wars duel. Every round you do two things at once:

  • Fortify. Construct towers to create a deadly maze that funnel creeps the long way around, while using the different towers for each threat. Sealing the path is allowed… but nothing stays sealed forever.
  • Attack. Spend the same gold to send a wave at your rival. Every creep you send permanently raises your income, so pressure compounds.

Both players commit in secret and resolve at the same time — and you only ever see the enemy maze as it stood last round. Read it, counter it, and send before they do.

There is no perfect defense. Every unit has an answer: snipers gut brutes, cannons shred swarms, flak rules the skies, frost buys precious seconds, and a wall only ever delays a determined push. Random terrain crags reshape the board every match, and the board size sets the pace — smaller boards mean faster, bloodier games.

Play your way

  • ⚔️ Duel a friend with a match code — no account, no install.
  • ⏳ Asynchronous: take your turn whenever you like; a turn timer keeps games moving.
  • 🧊 Learn the ropes in pass-and-play or against a Skirmish opponent.
  • 📱 Runs right in your browser, built for phone-sized screens.

Drain their lives to zero before they drain yours.

This game is still in it's early stages as I tweak the balance and add/remove features. Feel free to leave a review or comment if you dis/like anything. The inspiration for this game comes from a custom Warcraft 3 game called WMW.

I'm trying to contain the essence of that game, while also making it something more suitable to play on your phone. That's how I landed on something turn based but maybe I'll add a real time version in the future. I should note, since my personal goal here is to do more of the game design aspect, a lot is vibe coded. I have worked with Godot before which is why I instructed the AI to use it. It allows me to go in and understand the structure. The plan is to find a real artist / sound engineer etc once the game design aspect is good enough.
